THE CENTRE OF UKRAINIAN RESILIENCE EXPERIENCE WILL OPEN SHORTLY
The Centre of Ukrainian Resilience Experience (CURE) collects, systematises and transfers what Ukraine has learned during the war, turning it into knowledge that can be applied.
Behind every decision taken in a crisis stand particular people, institutions and communities. CURE gathers the testimony of those who took those decisions, turns practice into methodologies, research and training, and makes this knowledge available — in Ukraine and beyond.
Areas of work
CURE gives particular attention to the human dimension of resilience:
— mental health and psychological support;
— rehabilitation and return to work;
— social services under crisis conditions;
— support for families, children and people with disabilities;
— social self-organisation and volunteering;
— community cohesion and support for displaced people;
— humanitarian response.
Alongside this, CURE works with experience in the continuity of government, the resilience of critical infrastructure, energy, logistics, healthcare and education.
Why it matters
Ukraine is acquiring this knowledge at an extraordinarily high price. That is precisely why it should not remain Ukrainian alone. It is needed for the country’s recovery — and it can help other societies prepare for what they have not yet faced.
The U-STORY platform
The opening will include the presentation of U-STORY — a platform supported by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, which establishes spaces of Ukrainian experience in partner countries: immersive exhibitions and venues for engagement with the Ukrainian expert community.
The platform turns accumulated experience into a long-term instrument of international engagement, partnership and recovery.
